Five year old wallpaper won't stick.

Question

I just bought new appliances and they are not the same size as the old. I had kept a roll of wallpaper just in case. i tried to put it up and it won't stick. it was prepasted. does the paste evaporate?

Why don't you use pepasted activater , basically it's just glue that makes any paper stick.
