I have a question about contiuing fixing a car or buying another car. I currently have a 1989 Pontiac Firebird V6 2.8L 5-Spd Manual T-Tops and Trans Am Ground Effects. The car needs a new rear end. Weld sheet metal in the floor theres a spot that has rotted through. New paint and new tires . It has 166,239 miles on it. My friend might buy a 1988 Trans Am and i would pay him 200 dollars and could take a new rear from that car plus a couple more parts and his uncle would help me install it for extremly cheap. We replaced a battery, water pump on it already. It dosen't have an good inspection sticker on it. Or i could sell that car and buy a 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL 5-Spd 141,000 miles for 5,995. I would have to finace it after putting a down payment on it. What would be better in the long run. I have school coming uo and make about 234 a week with only car insurance to pay for. What would insurance rates be like on this kinda of car. I'm 19 been driving for 1 year, with no accidents.
