Fix blue screen of death?

Question

how can i fix it if i can't turn the computer on, even in safe mode???will i get data back?

P.S....obviously it was another computer!!!

There are different kinds of Blue screen errors. It would be better if you put in what kind of blue screen error you got. Well, if you cant go to safe mode. You can try using "Last known Good Configuration". To do that, you have to restart your computer, and when it is starting up, press F8 till you get the "Windows advanced options menu". If that does not work, your option would be to reformat, but you will lose data, if you do that.. Give me more details of what kind of blue screen error so that we can help you better.

Usually if a pc which is not defective by nature does not turn on or hangs on the beginning when turning it on, there is a loose hardware.  Most probably the cpu fell or was shaken that its hardware devices loosen up.  Better have it check with a technician if you are not an expert in this field.  If there was no error or formatting done prior to the incident then the data is safe and very recoverable.
