My husband is a very good handyman. He can do plumbing to electrical, just anything you can think of. But he is afraid to start his business because he doesn't have the certification and insurance. He likes working in peoples houses do some repairs and etc. How much do you think will it cost us for a general liabilty insurance?

  1. In Georgia, I can write a general liability policy for a handyman with no previous insurance and no employees for about $700 per year. That is for a $1 million limit. It might be more or less depending on where you live.
