  1. well, when you're standing there with whatever you have, a club, driver, ect... you should pracitce hitting.

What you do is that you take 3 steps backing away from the golf ball. Then you get in your normal postion and swing your club up but its not a real full out swing like you're actually gonna hit a golf ball. What you do is that when you start to come down from raising the club, you stop right where you were to barely hit the ball with your club and stop. then do it again till you feel confrontable with it. then you go back to the ball. Then you do the same thing without hitting the ball. Then when you think you're ready, hit the ball.

When you are getting ready to hit the ball, be sure you are bending your knees slightly and kind of bending over the club like your bowing to a queen or king... but not that low! Just ever so slight slightly. People would think you're standing up straight but you're bending over a little bit to put pressure on the club but not to much pressure!

    So I hope that helps!!!

  2. Looks like you are rushing throw your take away and back swing.  Slow down the take away and make the club head go HORIZONTAL until it takes your arm up and not you taking the club up.

Top of the swing looks ok except you might want to extend your left arm a bit more to get your lower body coiling.  Think of it as pointing your left arm and fist upwards as far as it will go.

Downswing: looks like you are releasing to early.  This might also be the reason for your slice.  Keep your body/head behind the ball for just a tad longer.

  3. put oil on it the sides?

  4. A slice is the common fault of golfers, especially ones with higher handicaps and the golfer usually just starting. And, of course, your clubs can contribute to this probelm as well.  Lots of thoughts and suggestions are available..regarding stance...maybe to open....whether or not you are coming out your stance on your swing...and so on and son.  Now...if you have a shaft too stiff for your swing...guess what...slice!  So, if I were you I would do what I didn't do when I first started and talk to a golf pro and take lessons. And when I continued to hit slices and horrible shots and couldn't break a hundred, I decided I wanted to learn more about my swing and took lessons from a golf professional. Best thing I ever did.  Not just the lessons but learning about the structure of the golf club and what club, shaft, loft and lie best suited my swing.  It took a little while, but with practice and perseverance...I got to playing not only in th 80's, but have shot in the 70's. Go have your clubs checked out. Enjoy the game more!!!

  5. Pretty nice swing really.   I'd just  try to get more stable by bending the knees a bit. (more of  a "ready stance").  Other than that, try keeping your head behind the ball at impact to let your wrists release.  Good luck.

  6. answered before it is all in the wrist and the hips

take dry swing with just wrist it will get you drawing the ball

  7. Kyler,  If you truely want to fix your swing......Stop asking for advice  here and go take a few lessons.....that is the only way you are going to get better......

  8. hi, i guess swing is nothing but flexibility of your body. which can only be fixed in front of a mirror or reviewing a video. i am sure you know the basics of swing. don't waste your money on trainers (i guess they haven't seen this blog), instead buy a big size mirror and fix it in your bed room and practice. remember 'seeing is believing'. unless you see your own swing, difficult to walk with a white stick (like a blind). thanks.

  9. like i said before, you need a vid of you HITTING a ball to see your real swing, anyone can do a pretty swing until they get over a ball.
