I recovered from a LOT of breakouts from last year and they are mostly gone, but my skin is REALLY uneven. There's redness, blotches, ruddiness, and things that look like freckles, but I'm not sure.

What can I do to get smoother-looking skin? Skin like this: http://www.digital-shot.com/images/woman_after.jpg

  1. Toning: Egg Whites

Using egg whites is the cheapest and easiest way to tone your skin at home. Simply separate a few raw egg whites into a bowl and apply directly on the facial skin after cleansing. Let the egg white dry for at least 15 minutes and rinse it off with lukewarm water for an instant glow. For acne, take one egg white and put it directly on top of the pimple for 20 minutes.

  2. That skin is totally photoshopped

I started using anti-aging products to even out my skin tone. Alpha hydroxy acids have been clinically proven to remove hyper-pigmentation in inhibits melanin. It has really really improved my skin, I used to have all of these brown freckles by one of my eyes from the sun and some red discoloration on my cheek from old acne scars and all of it has pretty much faded within a month. I think if I continue to use it, it will get even better. I'm using olay regenerist daily thermal mini peel by the way, with olay all day complete moisturizer for sensitive skin. The alpha hydroxy acid used for those serious face peels in dermatologists offices are 70%, mini peels are 20-30% and over the counter products like I'm using are 5-10%. So with continued use it theoretically should equal the results of getting a face peel at the dermatologist. Just look for AHA, Alpha hydroxy acid or glycolic acid (a type of AHA)
