Fixed odds betting terminals - Also known as "The IT Box"?

Are you experiencing problems playing these machines? After playing the roulette on these machines i understand that numbers are supposedly "randomly" generated. Now it seems that the machines have some sort of internal working that always manages to not pay or pay the least amount that is staked on a number. Something has changed with these machines. It seems the numbers are not randomly generated anymore they are now like one-arm bandits or fruit machines that only play when they want to pay out.

Does anyone have a strategy or system/software anything that works really to aid winning on these machines?

  1. Guys - listen to yourselves!

These machines are licensed by the local authority and the manufacturers have guaranteed that the number generation is random.

The major betting chains are huge multi-million pound companies and would not risk the right to provide these machines just for the sake of a regional variation or because they needed to trick people out of money.

Machine roulette and real roulette are the same - the odds are stacked against you.

Sit in front of one with a million pounds and play for a million years and YOU WILL LOSE IT ALL !

The machines are the overall responsibility of the Gambling Commission and you can tell them of any concerns you have.

  2. How come Ive lost £1000 on ours in march then?

In yorks, I was speaking to Corals manager last week, and they didnt bank any money in the whole of march. I am beginning to wonder if the machines win in 'regions', but like you said they are supposedly random....so how?

PS We have two of the IT Boxes.
