HiI have a Janome 23X sewing machine, about 10 - 12 years old. I have never been able to adjust the tension properly and quite frankly now wonder if the machine had a problem right from the start and with my inexperience thought it was me.Now I am getting loops of thread on the back of the work. I have done everything the book says (which is not much) and still the problem exists. Have changed the needle, checked the needle threading, the bobbin, the spool of thread, re-threaded the needle and still it happens. The machine was serviced about 12 months ago and it has not done a lot of work!Any suggestions with both the tension problem and how to now fix the looping thread would be appreciated.
