Fixing a new phone headset?

Question

I am trying to change my headset for my land line phone. I have fixed the headset's line into the jack of the small white box. The problem now is that the wires in the box have different colours (red, green, black and yellow) than the wires from the mains (orange only; white with blue spots; blue with white spots; white and orange spots). So i am confused as to which wire should be connected to which wire in the box.
