Fixing a storm door.?

I have a aluminum storm door and all the weather stipping has come off and has a one inch gap on the top of the door, to keep out the dirt and bugs I would like to put something up but I dunno where to start... what kind of material should I use, should I just use a hot glue gun to assemble it together? I know I can do it, I just have no idea on how... any help?

  1. If that is a one inch gap all the way across the door... youve got the wrong size door.

If that is a one inch gap at one side, or the other, at the top of the door, then it needs to be adjusted so that it is square.

I'd advise against using a hot melt glue gun, as the glue will melt during hot weather, or sunshine.

Replacement weather stripping can usually be found at most hardware, or building supply stores.

Post or email some pics to me, and perhaps I can offer more specific advice.

    Good Luck
