Fixing aftermath of XP Antivirus 2008?

Yeah, I got that nasty little bugger... but it seems to be mostly gone. I won't know until my dad gets a better look at it... but it's not in my registry nor anywhere else it seems.

But on that note, it seems to have killed my desktop and screen saver tabs in Display Options, meaning I can't change my screen saver back to something that's not a blue screen of death. Is there any way to fix that?

Please help me! I swear, if I see the supposed bug-eating screen saver I may have nightmares for weeks.
