Question:

Fixing asphalt drive?

I just had my driveway asphalt and a large speed bump before it enters the garage to prevent the rain from coming in, cause the grade was allowing the water to run into my garage. Now when it rains it still seeps 1 - 2 inches of water in the garage. I was wondering if someone ever had this problem and how they fixed the problem. I was thinking of putting more sealer on the bump and before the bump Any Ideas?

  1. Try putting a new rubber garage door weatherstrip on the bottom of the door.

  2. The rain is either driving in because of the wind or it is running down the door, you could fit a weather bar to the door depending on the type of door you have. You could also fix a flexible gasket to the inside of the door along the bottom.
