Fixing doors to cabinets?

whats the correct way to fix a door to a cabinet.i need to know the distance of the hinge plate to the door hinge to make sure it fits.?

That depends entirely on the type of hinges you are using, and what kind of doors.

Lets start with the hinge... what kind is it?  Blum?  Knife, hidden, exposed??? what????  The hinge manufacturer can give you the specs on whatever particular hinge you are using.

How about the door.... is it inset, flushmount, half lap, full lap, what?

I just love questions that have little to no details.....(sigh)
