  1. by being prepared to make changes in your outlook and questiioning the paranoid thoughts with the following questions

is that true of the present moment?

how do i feel with the thought?

how would i feel without the thought?

Can i turn the thought around to the truth?

Try changing all of your probability thinking to grounded truths. that way you will get rid of your paranoia.

    Hope this helps.

  2. Jay, I think you have paranoia confused with fear.  For instance, you may be afraid that a plane will crash because planes have crashed in the past or that you will die of a heart attack because people die of heart attacks.

This is an anxiety disorder and you should talk to your doctor about medications or therapy IF your worries are significantly effecting your life, work or relationships.  I make this distinction because, all people have some anxiety about things that might happen, but some people are able to shrug them off and let them go without experiencing problems from these worries.
