  1. I've had the same room situation before!

First, make sure that you want to keep everything that's in your room in there. Sort things like with like, and see if there's anything you can get rid of or give away. Then see if there's anything that you could put into another room like the bathroom or coat closet.

Then see what you have left, and make sure there is a place for everything. Create zones for clothes, shoes, books, jewelry, etc. Make sure you use your closet well, and under your bed. When you have some cash, underbed boxes and over-the-door hangers are good investments.

Try to keep the dresser to as clear as possible. And make your bed every day, so you can use it as a surface.

Most importantly, take 5-10 minutes a day to keep it organized, clutter-free, and in the zones. This will help you feel less claustrophobic!

  2. do what i did. If you have a closet with a bar to use hangers and shelves, heres what to do. I bought this hanging closet shelv type thing and then i put some of my clothes in it. Then i used hangers. And i got these cloth boxes for the shelves.

    U can also rearrange furniture.
