Fizzy Bella upsets Three Moons to take victory at Kinsley
Fizzy Bella upsets, Three Moons, to take victory in the 462 metres Grade A3 greyhound race at Kinsley on Sunday, January 29, 2012. She won a cash prize of £69 with this win.
The bookmakers had given, Fizzy Bella, a starting price of 7 to 1, as her recent performances have not been much impressive. Despite that, she proved everyone wrong, and stormed to victory at Kinsley.
The triumphant greyhound had entered the race from trap number two, covering the overall distance in 28.29 seconds. She got off to a decent start, which helped her to progress with rampant speed.
Born in April, 2008, the J. M. Lowe trained b***h is the daughter of Tom Tashadelek out of Grainnes Girl.
Three Moons turned out to be the biggest disappointment of the day, as she finished runner up despite sent as the 2 to 1 favourite. She completed the race distance in 28.44 seconds, after breaking in from trap number four.
However, the R. Thompson trained b***h did not get an ideal start, which saw her losing the battle to Fizzy Bella in the end.
Three Moons is the daughter of Droopys Scolari out of Rich Cigar, and was born in August, 2009.
Third place went to Hoffmans Queen, who had a pretty clean run, but lacked the speed to match the top two finishers. She was given a starting price of 9 to 4, which was not that bad.
However, the J. G. Hurst trained b***h managed to complete the overall distance in 28.53 seconds, after popping out from trap number one. She was born in August, 2008, and she is the daughter of Droopys Scholes out of Hoffmans Tyrean.
Further down the order, Soggy Biscuit completed the race in fourth place, after breaking in from trap number six. He had a starting price of 9 to 2, and completed the race distance in 28.61 seconds.
The M. N. May trained hound is the son of Geordie Parker out of Lissivigeen Pit, and was born in June, 2009.
Dunbolg Tempest and Farran Loch completed the order of finish, as they took the final two places, respectively. They were simply unable to match the front runners in the race.
This race was a pretty decent one for Fizzy Bella, who might get a better starting price from the bookmakers in the future.
