Flag Football defensive plays tips?

i need some defense tips on playing flag football.

ok it's 4 on 4... offense has 1QB, 2WR, and a center who can play go out for a pass when the ball is hike. on defense we have 2 shut down corners, 1 mlb who isnt that athletic but has awareness and a safety who is athletic and likes to read the quarterbacks eyes. on the defense the rule is, if your going to blitz, u have to back up 7 yards from the line of scrimmage. there is no blocking. they dont really want any contact what so ever.

after the Qb saids hike, he has 7 seconds to throw the football or else it's a loss of down.

Also, you start at the 5 yard line of your end zone. You have 3 downs to get to a first down which the first down is half of the field. and when you reach half of the field, you have 3 downs to score or it's a turnover on downs.

so, what kind of defensive plays should we run on the offense?

  1. Stab him...

    JK ummmmmmm

    if you can rush, rush!

  2. Have both your corners line up inside the receivers to take away the inside slants and force the QB to throw over the top of corners. Blitz from the side the QB throws from to make the QB throw from the worst angle. ex. if right handed QB blitz so the QB will have to drift to his left and throw. Also if not blitzing have the safety focus on the offenses best receiver. MIx up your packages so the offense won't know what to expect

  3. it all depends on your mlb... i would blitz a lot, either with a cb or the safety
