Flaming Honey hot favourite for May Puppy
Flaming Honey has been rated as hot favourite for the May Puppy 460 metres flat race at Henlow in England on Thursday, May 17, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will be given a cash prize of £150.
The action at Henlow is scheduled to start at 20:30 GMT and a total of six quality runners have been attracted towards it. Their names are as follows: Flaming Honey, Blackrose Eve, Blackrose Puma, Islas Boy, Driving Champ and Bittles Bar.
Looking at the overall performances of all participants, the bookies have awarded Flaming Honey with the best odds. She has a very good record in this class, thus the punters are likely to risk a lot of money in her favour.
The S. Fletcher’s trained b***h has won a couple of races out of her previous five outings, which shows the kind of form she is in at the moment. She has got excellent speed and stamina and it will not be an easy task for her opponents to match her at Henlow.
In her most recent race, the black b***h was unable to meet the expectations of the bookies, as she finished third overall, despite being rated as the favourite. She got off to a bad start and got badly crowded afterwards, which cost her chances of victory.
However, her stamina was excellent once again, as she increased her speed significantly towards the end of the event.
If Flaming Honey gets a clear run today as well, she will be unmatchable. She is the daughter of Droopys Vieri out of Flamingo Girl and was born in August 2010.
Blackrose Eve might manage to fight for victory in the race, but her chances in this class are very slim. She has managed to win a couple of races out of the past five attempts, but the competition level was no way near to the Grade OR events.
However, the E. Cantillon’s trainee still has the winning momentum with her, which will help her attract a few bets in her favour. She is the daughter of Royal Impact out of Loughnatousa Una and was born in October 2010.
Other than the top two favourites, Blackrose Puma might also manage to make a solid impression in the race.
