Flaming Honey to extend her winning streak in the Easter Puppy at Henlow on 5th April
Henlow is to become home for the Easter Puppy over 460 metres on Thursday, 5th April. Invading the track for the £150 prize money are Savana Ruby, Blackrose Puma, Scramble, Viking Cheryl, Flaming Honey and Angelic Lottie.
The most promising entry for the race is Flaming Honey, Droopys Vieri’s two-year-old black daughter out of b***h Flamingo Girl. She has stretched the winning streak to four recently and that too after missing a race to the second position. Had she been able
to bag the missed race, Flaming Honey would have easily extended the wining figure to six.
Her last six starts have comprised of five victories and a second position.
Flaming Honey won the Grade A9 460 metres flat on 11th February at Henlow by timing the distance in 28.70 seconds as the 6/4 favourite winner led by 1 ¾ lengths.
Blue Blazer was the runner up of the race while finishing the race right after her was Wood Jean.
She missed the next start to the 9/4 favourite winner, Moaningvalentine, in the Grade A8 460 metres at Henlow. She took 28.63 seconds to race across the wire.
Flaming Honey raced through the track distance in 28.63 seconds.
After losing this one she did not miss the chance of winning in all the four starts that came her way. She was the 2/1 favourite winner of the Grade A8 460 metres flat on 24th February at Henlow by clocking the track distance in 28.19 seconds.
Bodell Letitbe was the runner up and was soon followed by Westmead Orion.
Then on 1st March, Flaming Honey won the Grade A6 460 metres flat by timing the distance in 28.09 seconds. Following and thus joining right behind was Moaningvalentine.
Not taking any chances at all of missing the hat trick that was coming right in, Flaming Honey drilled over 277 metres at Henlow on 16th March. She managed the distance in 16.99 seconds.
On 22nd March, Flaming Honey bagged the Grade A5 460 metres flat at Henlow by reaching the other end of the wire in 27.94 seconds. The fourth and last victory till yet was in the Bedford Road Puppy on 29th March at Henlow.
Flaming Honey timed the track distance in 27.68 seconds.
Her victory tonight is inevitable.
