Flashes of floating light?

I've only seen this once in my life in my boyfriend's basement years ago. We were putting together a high chair for his neices and nephew... we both saw a staggering floating ball of bright light for about a half of second. Maybe the size of a golf ball.

I could be anything.  Orbs are not necessarly considered ghosts or spirits.

Orbs have many names including globes, globules, balls of light, and hovering round balls. They appear in all ranges of brightness from bright-&-glowing to faded-&-barely-visible. They are usually quite fast and follow an erratic pattern of flight. Positive orbs are believed to be the spirits of the dead by many. However, other theories suggest that they might be separate life forms or even nature spirits.

Yes, it is an orb. When a spirit tries to manifest itself, it will often come across as a ball of light. Sounds like you saw one!

So you see a light and instead of searching for a logical explanation, like something wrong with your eyes or static electricity or a torch beam - you think it must be something supernatural?

I just don't understand why people think like that.

You can, probably, tell us what it was, or think it was.

I believe you saw what you saw. I've not ever seen these things, however, I asked one thing, I know that their are spirits all around us, but, I am not prepared to see this in my awake state. Mostly all paranormal happenings, I have experienced, including, riding in vessels, high in space, visiting with people who have graduated, on high. Things unimaginable, all happened in my dream state. I look forward to dreaming. I learned a ton of information, in dreams. If I can believe you 100%, I hope you can believe me , as well.
