Flashgun attachment.?

Question

It straps 2 a camera flashgun with velcro. It has two side legs which open and shut like eye-glasses. It has a magnifying lens on the front and has a greater throw of light than a flashgun without it. I saw it being used at an R.S.B.P. site by a photographer from Grenada but we could not understand each other. Thanks in advance for looking. Art
