the other night i was at a private concert for our camp and they had flashing lights. i started getting a headache and nausious and then i started shaking. i left the room and went back to the cabin and the headache and nausia went away after about 30 mins. (i drank 2 water bottles during this time) and the shaking went away after about an hour. i dont remember much from before i got the headache. this was the first time this happened so im just lookin for answers. ive already checked web md an it didnt help. im 13 and im a girl. it was friday night.

also, the band was loud, if that could hav amything to do withit, but ive been to other concerts so idk

  1. Flashing lights and loud music also triggers migraines in a lot of people.   The headache and being nauseaus fits - what doesn't fit is the shaking but migraines can do some strange things to people.

    You should get it checked out next time you go to the doctor or sooner if it happens again.


  2. not to scare you, but, have your parent take you to the dr. This I've heard can cause siezures.not saying it is you but get checked.

  3. Your best bet is to go to a doctor and see what they have to say. As the first answer said, bright flashing lights and loud noises can cause seizures - regardless of age or gender. You might be one of the people that this affects, and even if you aren't... better safe than sorry, am i right?
