Flashing my phone from verizon to cricKet?

my cricket EZ phone just sucks ****. a buddy of mine gave me his like new LG VX5200, and i want to know if i can flash it myself or do i pay cricket for it? i would much rather to do it myself but im not an expert

You have to pay cricket for it, well ill put it this way you can unlock the phone yourself if you have the unlock codes but the about it. youll only be able to make call and nothing else. if you want the full flash with text,pics and internet you gotta take it in to cricket or pay 250 for the softwear you need to do it yourself.
