Hamish said it all!  I got my braces on yesterday and they hurt so bad!  I thought I was getting brackets on top and bottom, but I got 8 spacers,  10 brackets on top, and the wire on top!  The dentist didn't come over so I don't think they were tightened any, but if I touch them with my tongue, fingers or food it kills me!  So I don't no what to do, pain killers don't numb it at all!!!!  I hate the spacers, and the blisters, and the pain,  All I know is they better not stay this way for 2 years.  I don't know what to eat.  Even soft food hurts.  I'm 86 pounds so I can't lose any weight, and After every appointment to the ortho, I go figure skating for 6 hours.  Sorry I didn't help you, I was responding to your other question.  Good luck with your braces!
