  1. Yes they Do... I would also recommend Jack knive. it is whereyou lay on your back, but arms straight on the ground by your body. Lift your legs to make an L, Lift them over your head. Lift them higher over your head, Bring it back down, Make the L shape again, then lay down straight. Repeat.

    Hoped this helped,

  2. Yes, but i suggest you don't just do sit ups if you want to improve your abs, there are lots of websites that will give you some ideas of different exercises to do. purchase a exercise ball these are very good for using while working out your abs

  3. Umm personally according to my research and workout habits it depends on what type of build your body is. Also, watch what you eat, cardio is always helpful but it seems to plateau after a while, but the most important is to mix up the ab exercises. Don't just stick to one work out, mix up the routines and do several different types.

    good luck! :)

  4. Sit ups do help but there are many other exercises for getting flat, toned abs.

    1. Lie on the floor with your back flat on the ground.  Put your arms on the floor to the sides of you.  Now slowly start to lift ur legs up.  Now drop your legs back down and repeat.

  5. theres a few types of sit ups that work on different parts of the abbs

  6. they do help but until there is minimal fat around the stomach your abbs will not show

  7. No they don't. They are a waste of time and the most ineffective exercise.

If you are serious about getting flat, toned abs then go to http://www.magnificentabs.com

and read the reviews listed there and chose the program that suits your needs better. Either one will work.

    good luck
