Flat Iron Burn HELP!?

Question

I burned my leg with my flat Iron, I washed it under cold water and applied some aloe gel. Is this going to scar my leg? Is there anything else I should do or put on it to help it heal and prevent it from leaving a scar?

put some lotion on it and dont shave over. just leave it alone and over a little time it will heal.

Give it time. I've scarred my neck and forehead with a curling iron ( just as hot) and it leaves this really dark scar. But because its pretty superficial, it'll heal very fast. The most you'll be left with is a very light pink scar that should be gone in a few weeks. DO NOT PICK AT THE FLAKING SKIN!! It'll make the scar worse.. Once it's cooled down, do a combo of aloe and coco butter, your leg should be back to normal in a little while.

Next time be super careful!

Burn Ointment and then if the scar doesnt go away after a while scar creme

Put honey on it and cover it with a bandage/band-aid. Honey is a natural healer and will heal it from the inside out. It will also soothe it.
