Flat shoe question??

Ok I go into the store and I see all these cute flat shoes but they are not practical if you live anywhere where it snows or rains a lot because:

1. You can wear socks with them so your feet would get cold

2. The material they make them out of will get ruined by water/snow

I mean if I bought a pair of those for school by November I wouldn't be able to wear them to school anymore and then I would have to go out and buy another pair of shoes for school!! Why do they make these shoes so cute but not practical?

I wear them all year long and mine don't get destroyed. And I live in new york, the winters are extreme, and you can wear socks with them, I always wear sock with them and it looks fine.

Flats are practical, you just have to find cute and durable ones. I wear my flats year-round, and I love them. Yeah, my feet get a little cold, but where I live I get heavy snow in the winter too. Hope this helps you.

You can get little socks made especially for shoes like that...you can ge them in nude so they blend with your skin and are cut so that you can't really see them when you wear flats.

Or, if your worried about the shoes getting ruined, just wear a pair of more weather-appropriate shoes (like boots) and then change right when you get to school.

I wear them in the srping and summer and early fall because It'll be comfy then. Shoes are cute, but some ar emade for specific seasons. Like you wouldn't wear flip flops in the snow or flats in the rain. Or boots in the summer.

This way designers and clothing people can make more money, If they only make one type of shoe ( ie. the sneaker) that you can wear all four seasons, that'll be less money for them.
