Flatland bmx help?

i am interested in learning to do flatland bmx tricks but im dont know how to do any tricks (i can barely bunny hop) or if a have the right kind of bike for it. i have a diamondback joker which is a few years old. what are some good beginner tricks and and some tips and advice for beginners?

1:a DK rage is a good bike  

2: start w/ just having fun (riding and small wheelies)

3:then start making your way to riding your off small ledges

4: then you will be a natural at bunnyhops
