  1. go to a pet shop and look on the packages! or just ask a vet

please have me be best answer!

  2. Once a month for 3 months I think in the flea/tick season   Instructions are on packs

  3. Frontline is the BEST - it lasts for 'up to' 5 weeks in a cat.

  4. Well, although you don't want to have a flea collar my cat wears one and has never has fleas or ticks. Also if you put a flea collar on, attach a name-tag and an address so if your cat ever gets lost hopefully someone will return it to you.

However if your mind is made up about the collar buy a good flea and tick thing and put it on about once a month.

    Hope this helps...

  5. Frontline - no question about it is the best flea spray EVER!!!

Im not too sure about how often it needs to be done but when you buy it the vet will tell you.

You should find it in any pet shop or vet.

Its a bit pricey but definitely worth it and will keep any living bug off the cats.

  6. Once a month for however many you get in the pack. However the fleas/ticks do not die until they bite your cat's skin and that will take about 2-3 weeks but possibly more if you cat is outdoors.

  7. Frontline.

You do it every 5 weeks.

It saves a lot of hassle.

Shop around for prices though. I know vets sell it.

  8. i don't know if it's the same for cats as it is for dogs but i use frontline on my dog and the vet advised me 2 do him once every 3 months and to worm him at the same time

  9. This usually lasts for up to 5 weeks for cats!

The climate has a big effect on it as well. If it is hot and humid flea's are about more and you may need to use it more often!

  10. Once a month and please please do not use the over the counter HARTZ... it killed my best friend's cat.  We actually did sooooo much research and found out that it is being taken off the shelves.  Use Frontline or Advantage.

  11. For fleas I prefer Capstar tablets and the Program injection (once every six months) but neither protect against ticks so if the cat goes outside it needs tick prevention too and I guess Frontline is the best.

FYI people - we had a really bad flea season in Australia the last 2 years and I've heard from a lot of people that Frontline hasn't been working for them and it didn't for me either. I was in consultation with Merial (that makes Frontline) and they weren't terribly helpful.
