  1. I highly recommend advantix.

    its the best.

it covers for, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes and is completely water proof.

and the best prices out of all of them.

here is the cheapest place to buy them-

Oh! your in luck it is on a big sale right now!

I think that the frontline is not working cause your dog is allergic to it.

and it needs be changed immediately.

    Good Luck.

  2. that is some of the best stuff out there, you may consider bug/flea bombing your house. no matter how good the flea treatment if they had fleas they are in your house and they will reinfest you animal.

    my suggestion:

bathe your animal (with a flea shampoo)

bomb the house with a bug bomb (make sure it works for fleas) and read the directions you have to place in the center of the room and leave for like 2-4 hours and then air out before entering

reapply the flea treatment ( i think advantage is the best of them)

  3. Well you have treeted the dog now you need to treet your house and ground out side. Once a month I take my dog to the groomer so he is out of the house and I spray my home.   Before I bring my dog back in I vaccume the rugs and furniture. I give my dog a bath once a week and put meds on him to help his sensitive skin.   I went to my vet to get all the stuff I use on him to help his skin and to protect him from ticks and fleas.

  4. Do you have the right does for your dog? They have a age and weight thing on the box, maybe your using one for young dogs. Advantage and fronline are the best out there. You can try using the flea shampoo before using the drops but if that doesn't work you can ask the vet for something.

  5. Use something natural, I use neem shampoo and give my dogs brewyers yeast with garlic tabs.  Neem has always been an alternative to topicals.  Brewyers yeast with garlic is a natural pesticide.  They should work great together.  I've used them for 3 years now on my 5 dogs and haven't had any problems.  If you can't find neem shampoo bath your dog with dawn dish soap.  I've worked with dogs for 10 years.

  6. Adams is a good brand.  It always worked well for me.

  7. I had the same problem with my Chihuahua and I switched her to Revolution and I haven't seen a flea since. I also found out that she was allergic to wheat so I switched her to Natures remedy from Pet Smart and she doesn't itch at all now she is like a new dog.
