  1. FORGET flea bombs, powders, flea washes (as if your cat is going to let you wash it!) or any other chemicals used for the house. Go to your local Vet or pet shop and get a once a month spot on the back of the neck - Frontline or Revolution. This is a safe and effective method specifically designed for pets. It will not only kill the fleas on your cat, but the entire flea life cycle including eggs and larvae in the cats environment (i.e. your house). If you get Revolution it will also treat your cat for intestinal worms and heart worm. If you have any other cats or dogs they should also be treated.

  2. We used to have the same problem. We tried so many things, but the fleas wouldn't go away and we would have to pick them out one by one. IT WAS DISCUSTING! I would say taking them to the vet is the best thing to do. He is a pro so he would  know better than you would. Ask him your problem, too! Just start with taking a LOOOONNGGG shower and use a lot of hair product! Best wishes!

  3. Treat the cat with powder or lotion and bomb the house with insecticide

bombs remove all precious living things first

  4. the vet can do a flea dip....works the best =]

also over-the-counter flea drops usually work too

  5. take a shower and take cats to vet

  6. Nasty, take a shower.

There are liquids that you put on the pets neck once a  month , that did it for my cat.

  7. No flea collars - don't work well at all and can be toxic to the cat.

Get Advantage or Frontline Plus.  No more fleas for 30 days.

Vacuum your house frequently (upholstery too) and empty the bag or canister outside.  And wash cat's bedding and yours in hot water.

    That should do it.

  8. Get a flea wash, not Hartz (they kill animals all the time). Wash the cat, and use it on yourself, but don't get it in your eyes or mouth.

THEN kill all the eggs that fell off,  Get some BORAX and put it on everything! And I mean everything, leave it for a couple of hours and then vacuum it up. TWICE, it will be in places you didn't even know existed but it works, it dries the eggs up so they die and wont come back. THEN get the drops that kills fleas from petsmart or petco, spend the money and get the good stuff, otherwise they will come back.
