  1. I see most flea answers on this website refer to chemicals. There is a better way to treat fleas. First of all vacuuming will remove most fleas so vacuum every day until they are gone.

    Steam clean your carpets

Give your cats brewers yeast. Start putting about 1/4 teaspoon in your cat's food every day and increase to 1/2 gradually. Cats love the taste and it creates a natural repellent.

The most important thing is not to let the problem get worse.

    Good luck with your kitties!

  2. Go to your vets for some treatment for both your house and pets. The stuff that you can buy in the shops isn't as good. I wouldn't get spray for your pets either btw, it is really easy to give them an overdose with it and besides cats do not like anything that makes a spray noise. Get some spot on for the cats and ask about what to get for your house.

  3. if you don't use it already you need to go buy advantage from your vet, it's a topical flea treatment for cats.

this will kill any if they try to jump on your cats, which they will - do it NOW TODAY before they get worse!!! believe me once your house is infested with fleas it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get rid of them, i am having a problem with fleas my cats brought in from outside and i have spent months trying to get rid of them, it is DISGUSTING!

they survive anything and MULTIPLY like crazy (and VERY quickly.  they are laying eggs all over your house as we speak (a few quickly turns into many more!)

you need to do something today and do not wait or you will be very sorry!!!

    good luck!

  4. There is no great way to get rid of a few fleas in your house.  If you see them on the bed or whatever pinch them in half (disgusting but you would be suprised what they can survive).

If they are not from your cats there will only be a few and they wont casue much problem after  a few days (assuming your cats have been treated).  Just change you bed clothes and see how it goes

  5. You need to treat your cats and your house with flea spray and the products that are effective at elliminating them you can purchase from your cats vet.
