Flemenstar impresses one and all in the 2012 season
Flemenstar has been doing a fantastic job over fences, and it seems very unlikely that someone will be able to break his winning streak in the near future. He is such a good runner and has made his team proud on numerous occasions.
Although, the Irish stallion is not very young, yet his performances are not bad at all. He has the ability to be competitive against the best in the business and there is no doubt that he will continue delivering positive results for his team in the coming
years.
The seven-year-old gelding has participated in just nine events until now, which is a bit surprising. He has got immense talent and should have appeared a lot earlier than 2010, year in which he made his seasonal debut.
However, it does not matter for the Peter Casey’s trainee much, as long as he keeps on performing like this. He has managed to succeed in six races until now whereas finished as a runner up once.
Out of all those victories, five have come in consecutive events, which is quite an impressive thing. He will look to continue delivering such results for his team and then think of retirement after a few years, with his head held high.
Talent alone is not enough to win races and the runners need to have a good team in order to rise to the occasion. One of the most important factors in this sport is to have a good jockey.
Luckily for Flemenstar, he has mostly been partnered by A. E. Lynch during his career. Although, the talented jockey does not have a lot of experience, yet he is good enough to take the fight to others.
On the other hand Casey has also played a vital role in developing Flemensfirth’s son into a strong runner. The experienced trainer rates his runner highly and once stated, “It is unbelievable”, he said. “I am delighted. I cannot believe it. I just cannot
believe that the horse is that good. He is very good, I am delighted with him.”
Casey has managed to win a couple of big races with Flemenstar and will be hoping to continue getting rewards in the future as well.
