A few days ago My upper arm was really itchy so as I was scratching it, a small bump appeared (like swelling almost instantly) and within a day it scabbed. It ended up looking like a mosquitoe bite that I scratched too much that bled and scabbed.

Same thing has been happening along my arm mostly upper arm and it's only on my right arm.(3 marks/scabs total) It just looks like mosqutie bites that scabbed...What's causing this? It's starting to freak me out a little bit.

  1. sounds likd a spider bite u may need to go get it looked at

  2. Don't go to the ER, it's not that bad if its a bump and scab right now, But definately go see a doctor within the next few days just to get it checked out and make sure.

  3. Go to the hospital ASAP, they need to give you some strong antibiotics and that will heal it. It could be MRSA. You need to treat it ASAP because it could spread to other parts of your body and it is highly contagious. If you see pus coming out of it, it is MRSA but anyway just go to the er room and they´ll help you. It always starts off looking like a mosquito or spider bite, or like a pimple but it spreads and/or gets bigger, like a big pimple you can´t pop.

You can read about MRSA in the link below. No worries, it´ll heal with the right antibiotics. But you gotta act fast, go to the hosp ASAP.

  4. "Flesh eating bacteria" causes serious physical illness besides just the effects on the skin and you'd be feeling it by now; a brown recluse bite would spread quickly as much as you were scratching. It sounds like it's just insect bites. Unless they look infected (red lines radiating around the scabs), it shouldn't be anything to worry about.

  5. GO SEE THE DOC  ......MIGHT BE SKIN CANCER

  6. What are you waiting for...go see a Doctor. It could get worse.
