Ok I am trying to find out what the flex rating is for these boots?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220205352097&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=012

Or is there a method you can use to find out the flex rating of these boots? Any help would be much appreciated!

  1. Most DC snowboarding boots have "Stiff" ratings which isn't a bad thing but it depends on what type of riding you want to do.  Check out backcountry.com, that is where I get my snowboard gear and they are having a huge sale that ends really soon, lots of details and ratings and reviews on their products but it's in the US.  If you want good boots the best thing to do is find out if you want lacing, speed-zone, or BOA.  Lacing is your regular tie-up lace boots, Speed-Zone is mostly Burton boots that you basically just pull the cords and your boots will tighten automatically and you lock your cords in place, BOA is the cable-lace that you just turn the wheel on the boot and it automatically tightens them till you stop turning.  I have K2 Raider BOA and they are extremely comfortable and convienient.  The best thing to do after that is go try on boots at your local ski/snowboard shop, you want to make sure the boots are comfortable and what you want, I don't recommend buying them online without trying them out.  Good luck!
