  1. although, i already know how to do a split my dance teacher told the other students that everytime they get out the tub/shower try to do a split while your muscles are still warm you might won't get it the first time or second just keep repeating it and maybe it'll be better than before

  2. You can find ab exercises and videos of how to get your splits here: http://aescougarcheer.com/Cheer101/exerc... The splits are under the straddle stretch picture and the ab stuff is under the back and stomach stretch pics.

Good luck. I hope you do well on your exam!

  3. aside from stretching, I would start a daily routine of pilates.

It's great for core strength and stretches you. Many many dancers use it. My personal favorite are Windsor Pilates

  4. stretching on a daily basis helped me, sitting in second infront of my favourite tv programme pushing myself every 10 mins or to .. its helps! this isn't good to do for to long and don't do this if your not stretched, but sit in splits on your poor leg and hold your self up with your hands either side... or holding a sofa or chair.. after you feel comfortable slide down.. it may be painful but eh? no pain no gain!!
