  1. No.

You would be so so so sooo much better off at a studio!

where you learn to move, and learn technique.

    GOOD LUCK!!

  2. maybe Youtube

  3. Please go to a studio, thats where you will get the most out of dancing. You can read books like A Dancers Companion or Ballet for Dummies, but thats about as far as you will get. I read the books, because i am getting back into dance in the fall, and wanted to brush up on my skills. It gives you step by step instructions, but you should have a fellow dancer or dance instructor there to help you. My mom used to be a dancer, so she helps me a lot. But please, find a studio near you and take some classes. As for flexibility, stretch EVERYDAY! here is a website for you....

    GOOD LUCK!

  4. you need to go to a studio if you want good training. the internet wont tell you if your doing good or bad. and you will get the attention you need if you take classes in a studio. :)

  5. im guessing you just wanna "get in shape" before going into a studio- good idea! i would recommend basic stretches/yoga to get flexibility/balance. wikipedia has an excellent glossary of ballet terms, if you want to refresh your memory. also, there are many sites where you can talk to experienced dancers and look at/post pictures of anything dance-related!

  6. dance studio. or even get some yoga dvds. yoga makes you really flexible.

personally, im a dancer and i love yoga. so the two of them really helps me. make sure to stretch every night before bed.

  7. There are website that will have pictures and descriptions of dance moves but If you really want to get your technique back you MUST go to a studio and practice with a teacher. There is simply no website or video that will replace that experience.

  8. I tried to look it up online but there weren't any links to any. maybe if you search on youtube. Then again I got a book called Ballet for Dummies its great tells you stretches and moves like positons and structure and ballet songs.

    hope Ilve helped.
