Flickr problem please help?

I bought a visa debit giftcard at the grocery store to buy a flickr pro account online via flickr.com, but it would not accept it. It said error. why is that?

  1. Because it has to be a credit card.  


  2. I don't know if necessarily Flickr. I bought a couple of those visa debit gift cards, and some stores just don't accept them. Its weird.
