Flight HELP Please!!!?

Ok I want to visit my family in Israel and I am looking for a flight from About middle of July that goes from JFK to Tel Aviv (TLV)

I want 2 tickets that are for 2 weeks (10 days) and 2 tickets that are from the middle of July until August 23. I looked and I found only tickets starting at $1,300 or so.

Can anyone maybe know a site or something where you can get cheap tickets?

  1. Gas prices are hurting the airlines, just like they are hurting people who drive cars.  And the airlines have no choice but to pass that extra cost onto passengers, or quit flying.

Honestly, $1300 for JFK-TLV, when purchased only 4 weeks beforehand, sounds about right to me.

You may consider looking at other airports such as Newark (EWR).  While there are no transatlantic flights from LaGuardia, you may consider LGA-somewhere-TLV, where "somewhere" could be Atlanta or Detroit, for instance.

Oh, but...absolute long shot but you could take a look at www.travelzoo.com - they have crazy deals to different places, but I've been reading that site most weeks since 1998 and only once did they have a deal to the place I actually wanted to go - I got round-trip Chicago to Costa Rica last October for $200.

  2. Sure...

Why don't you go to a great website called Kayak.com.

They search all the websites and travel agencies to find you the best fare. Go right now, I guarantee that you can find a flight less then 1,300. I'm serious, check, right now. If you don't then just wait awhile and see when the prices drop later this week, then by.

    That's what my parents do.

    Have fun on your trip
