Flight Issue?

I just took a transcontinental flight last week, and when the plane was landing, my jaw suddenly just started to feel as if it were being pinched or something and my ears were hurting. I'm not sure why jaw part was happening but I understand the ear part. Maybe it was just because I haven't flown anywhere in 7 years.

Sounds like maybe it was just a nervous reaction.

Were you clenching your jaw real right? Some people get very tense during flights, and can lock their bodies into wierd positions.
