I have seen some people have got a computet telling them how high you are. For example: 40....30....10...5....... Touch down. Like a computer man talking in the cockipit, how do you get this feature on Flight Sim X ???

  1. FSX doesn't include this feature with any of the default aircraft.  If you want it, you'll have to get an add-on aircraft, payware or freeware, that provides the feature.  PMDG and Level-D are two leading companies that produce ultrarealistic payware add-ons for large jets that include all these features.

The audio callouts come from real life.  In most real aircraft equipped for instrument landings (includes all airliners), audio callouts tell the pilots their height above the ground as they land.  The heights at which the callouts occur are at the choice of the airline operator, but typically you hear them at 2500 feet, 1000 feet, 500 feet, then every hundred feet down to 100, then every ten feet from 50 on down.  The purpose is to help the pilots keep track of their precise height without the need to constantly watch the instruments, although one of them at least will keep an eye on the instruments, anyway.

  2. Okay, first off, this is not the actual simulator, this is an add-on aircraft (which these effects will ONLY happen on THAT aircraft) for example the PMDG 747 X.. there is also programs that add these special effects to many of your planes.
