Flight Simulator X?

Hi there,

I have been trying to play a multiplayer game of FSX over the internet, but I can't seem to work out how to do it. Like, I go onto someone’s session and join, and then I am in my own plane etc, but I can't see what is the difference and how can you speak personally to the tower? It also logs me off every few minutes and saying that I have signed in on another computer when I haven't. Why is this?

In a separate question: I have got 737 Pilot In Command. When I am using a 737 using their liveries etc, such as EasyJet, how can I speak to the tower? There isn't a button that I can press. What can I do?

Please, Please, Please help!!! Thanks a lot much appreciated!

  1. join a session.

select your role (pilot or ATC0

select your airplane by clicking change. change your location is desired

to speak on your radio press and hold caps lock. let go of it when finished. its a radio so there is no such thing as speaking personally to the tower. everyone on that frequency will hear you.

you might need to tune your COM1 radio via the radio stack to the right frequency first. people usually write it in session info or in the chatbox.

getting logged off is a problem gamespy and fsx haven't fixed yet. get the latest services packs might help. If you're using the pirated version, get the legitimate one.

for the separate question, same thing. hold caps lock key. or assign another key in options if caps lock is already taken by some other function

by the way. this section isn't the right place to go to for questions for FSX, especially in depth questions.

in the future, go here. you'll get much more answers and get lots more help
