I was thinking this may be a fun job, but I wanted to know some details. I have perfect vision, I am 18, I love flying... no fears there... aduh. I have my bronze madallion in swimming (which apparently you need), I speak english and french fluently and a little bit of German. I was wondering what the starting wage was per hour, and if you stay in the countries you land in for a while or if you leave just as soon as you get there?

  1. Speaking more than one language is def. a plus in the industry. As far as a starting wage-it varies airline to airline and they will discuss all that with you before you sign on the dotted line.

I also agree that there is no glamour attatched to being an FA these days. It's very tiring and you're simply never home, therefore I would never recommend this position to someone who has small children. BUT you do get awesome travel benefits..and you're basically your own boss which I love!

Think it over, and make sure you're up for it, because it will change your life.

    And good luck!!
