Flight changes and cancellations?

with the merger or NWA and Delta, if they get rid of or cancel a flight before the day of the flight will I get my money back or a credit toward a different flight?

What will likely happen is they'll try to put you on a different flight, if one is suitable.  If there isn't a suitable alternate flight, they'll refund your money.

Of course, what you consider "suitable" and what they consider "suitable" may be different.
