My brother's workong on a school tourism project & I'm no good in math, so please help.

Question: What will the departure time be for a flight leaving New York having landed in Cape Town, South Africa, after an 18 hour flight?

What a ridiculous question.  The answer is "anytime you like" since the arrival time at the destination is not given.  Is this a trick question or did you leave out some details?
