Flight from NYC to PVR (Puerto Vallarta, MX)?

I'm going to PVR from NYC around late oct to early nov (mid week flight). How much should this flight cost me? No hotel, just flight and one person.... Thanks!

Look it was possible to get flights from as low as $295 before the airline and fuel cost madness began. I see that the price now on Kayak looks like its over $500!

They access many other airlines and search engines and give you a lot of options! But you know the BEST prices I get myself (and I am sooooooo cheap!) is to research thoroughly on the net THEN go to my travel agent. If the agent is good, he will ALWAYS be able to find you the same deal as the net, but without all the hassle and lack of service!

That is almost impossible to predict with fuel prices rising every week. and no end in sight. I seriously doubt a ticket will be less expensive in October or November.

In fact, it could easily be 50% more than it is now.
