Flight information... please help?? thanks!!!!?

Im buying 2 flight tickets for a trip. me n my boyfriend. But were going to be going to the airport at separate times. i dont want my parents to find out im going with him. at the check in counter will they be asking about the other passanger that on my receipt, or whatever you call it?

They only can check-in the passenger that is at the counter with government issued photo ID.

The other passenger, in this case your boyfriend, will still show a AWAITING CHECKIN status on the system.

When he shows up, he can check-in just the same as you did.

If you were honest with your parents, you wouldn't have to worry about it.  

If you buy the tickets separate, I don't think you'll have to worry about it. Otherwise I have no idea.
