Question:

Flights from Gatwick to Mombassa - seating?

We're flying from Gatwick to Mombassa with Thomas Cook in September, not sure what plane it will be. Has anyone else flown Thomas Cook to Mombassa and if so, what were the seats like? I'm a bit worried as it's such a long flight that we'll be all squashed up and the people that upgraded will get so much better. My boyfriend says half the time upgrading isn't worth it but i'm unsure!

  1. With thomas cook you're most probably be flying in a Boeing 767 seating 2-4-2

It always pays to try and upgrade and depending how quick you are and what story you can string along you may get a free upgrade.

Such a long flight you would want to travel in confort but if you are small in height you'll have adequate legroom and space especially not in the centre but a window and isle seat in the 2 seats together.

I believe all seats have TV's and I was pleased to hear that the aircraft fleet may be upgraded.

Have a wonderfull trip and a great holiday.

Just remember it's the landing and destination makes the holiday and the flights are just the bit at the beginning and the end.
