  1. Its funny you say that, because yesterday the ECB announced that they were resting most of the England regulars for the rest of the season. The only players who didnt get rested were Monty, Harmison and Strauss.

So Flintoff has a long resting period from the 3rd of September right through to the "Standford" matches. This means Flintoff's body can get a full rest, and most importantly his ankle can take a break.

Flintoff's in superb form with bat and ball. He's always been a great ODI player anyway, so i expected his form to return. Pietersen has handled Flintoff very well, he has given him extra responsibilty with the bat by moving him up to 6 in tests and 5 in ODI's, and he has not over pushed Flintoff with the ball either, since KP has been captain Flintoff has only bowled in short and dangerous spells.

So no, he has no need to reduce the number of games that he plays, because he is getting a prolonged rest and Pietersen is giving him less work to do but still giving him a lot of responsibilty thus keeping the strain of Fred's ankle.

  2. Partly I think he got injured becaus of all the bowling he was put uinder. In test matches he should just be used for short sharp spells. Good to see his batting is getting better, and I think Pieterson knows how to handle freddie, and should opt for 5 bowlers.

  3. very good bowler for england and i think he should slow down a bit cause they need as much experience as they can get, and if he got badly injured he probably would have to retire

  4. fintoff had a fourth ankle operation and  a side strain and he hardly scored any runs for Lancashire.

Flintoff has had many injury setbacks and despite having a back spasm he still took 3-21before finishing the game off with the bat.

Flintoff could easily be the best cricketer but you are right because injuries threaten his career.

  5. i think he would always remain injury prone
