Flip Video Mino Camcorder?

Question

Has any one heard of the new Flip Video Mino Camcorder and know if it has the capability of capturing picture images as well as video images? In other words, it this a camcorder/digital camera device?

I want to find something that has a fairly convenient price tag on it yet is "all-in-one" in video/digital camera capability...

Nope. Mino can not shoot still images.

But you could capture still pictures from video using its included software.

Flip Video Mino (released yesterday) is an update of Flip Video Ultra, which is the bestselling camcorder at amazon. I own one, it works perfectly for me. I love it! Nice, easy to use, inexpensive and very portable, shoots great quality video. Guess Mino would be even better than mine.

You are looking for an "all-in-one" camera/ camcorder, this might not be a best choice tho. Here's my recommendation: Panasonic DMC-FX33S. This one is currently on sale for only $149.77.
